About Locker Ownership

What is a Locker Owner?

A Locker Owner is a customer who owns and controls their own digital Sports Locker within the My Sports Locker system.

The collection belongs to the Locker Owner, and the Locker Owner remains in control of how their Locker is used, how their collection is managed, what information is recorded, what is made public, and whether eligible items are made available for sale where commerce features are activated.

My Sports Locker does not own the Locker Owner’s collection or operate the Locker Owner’s business. MSL provides the platform, display tools, collection-management features, support, and operating framework that help Locker Owners organize, maintain, access, and better understand their collections.

The system is designed to give Locker Owners immediate access to important item details whenever they are needed, help preserve the history and legacy of their collection, and support maintaining meaningful information and value over time.

Available features and Locker capacity depend on the Locker Owner’s selected plan.

Who can become a Locker Owner?

Locker Ownership is available to customers who want to organize, manage, and maintain their sports collection using the My Sports Locker platform.

A Locker gives you immediate access to your collection and the detailed information recorded for each item, putting your collection at your fingertips whenever and wherever you need it. This allows you to quickly review item details and respond in real time when discussing, locating, trading, valuing, or managing items in your collection.

Customers select the Locker plan that best fits their collection and intended use and agree to the applicable My Sports Locker terms, rules, and plan requirements.

My Sports Locker is currently focused on serving customers in Canada.

How do the Locker Owner plans differ?

My Sports Locker offers different Locker Owner plans so customers can choose the level of capacity and features that best fits their collection.

The plans differ in areas such as collection capacity, access to Sub-Lockers, and other included Locker features.

You can begin with the plan that best fits your current needs and review the current plan details on the Pricing page before making your selection.

As your collection or needs change, you can move to a different Locker plan where applicable.

How do I get started with a Locker?

Start by reviewing the available Locker plans and choosing the option that best fits your collection and the features you expect to use.

From there, follow the Get Started process to create your Locker and begin organizing your collection.

With MSL’s quick image intake process, you can photograph an item and have available details automatically identified and entered for review, helping make collection input faster and easier while capturing more useful information about each item.

You can then confirm the details, organize where the item is stored, and continue building your Locker over time.

This gives you a detailed digital record of your collection that you can quickly access whenever and wherever you need it.

Can I upgrade my Locker plan later?

Yes. As your collection grows or your needs change, you can move to a Locker plan that provides additional capacity or features, where available.

Before upgrading, review the current plan details on the Pricing page so you can compare the available options and select the plan that best fits your collection.

An upgrade does not require you to rebuild your collection. Your existing Locker and inventory remain part of your account while the applicable plan features are updated.

Fees & Earnings

Do Locker Owners pay a monthly Locker fee?

Yes. Locker Owners select a monthly Locker plan based on the capacity and features that best fit their collection.

My Sports Locker currently offers Bronze, Silver, and Gold Locker plans, with additional features and capacity available depending on the plan selected.

Some plans may also provide access to optional Sub-Lockers or additional capacity. Any applicable additional charges are shown as part of the current plan details.

For current pricing and included features, please refer to the Pricing page.

Are there selling fees when items are sold?

Where selling features are enabled for a Locker, My Sports Locker may apply a selling fee to completed sales based on the Locker Owner’s current plan or applicable fee schedule.

Selling features are not necessarily active by default. A Locker Owner may request activation where the feature is available, and MSL can enable the applicable commerce controls for that Locker through its administrative system.

Selling fees apply only to the eligible sale amount and are separate from shipping, taxes, and other charges that may apply to the transaction.

Current selling rates and any applicable plan-specific details are shown on the Pricing page or other official MSL fee information.

Some collection areas or Locker features may operate without direct e-commerce enabled.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. My Sports Locker is intended to clearly disclose the fees that apply to your Locker and any optional features you choose to use.

Depending on your plan and the features you activate, charges may include your monthly Locker fee, optional Sub-Locker or capacity charges, applicable selling fees where commerce is enabled, payment-processing charges, shipping costs, taxes, or other optional service charges.

Applicable charges should be shown before you activate a paid feature or complete a transaction.

For current plan pricing and fee details, refer to the Pricing page and applicable MSL fee information.

Can Locker fees or selling rates change?

Yes. My Sports Locker may update Locker plan fees, selling rates, or other applicable charges as the platform and services evolve.

If a change affects an existing Locker Owner, MSL will communicate the applicable change in advance and update the relevant Pricing page, fee information, or terms.

Current fees and rates are always based on the most recently published MSL pricing and applicable plan information.

Your Locker

What is a digital locker?

A digital Locker is your personal online space for organizing, managing, and maintaining your collection.

Each item can include identification details, condition, quantity, storage location, images, and other useful records so you can quickly access important collection information whenever you need it.

Your Locker can be used privately for collection management, made available for public viewing, or used to display and share selected items.

Where a Locker Owner requests selling activation and MSL enables the applicable commerce features, eligible items may also be offered for sale and payment collected through the available transaction system.

The goal is to give you one organized place to know what you own, where it is located, and the important details about each item, while you remain in control of how your Locker is used.

What can I list in my Locker?

A Locker can be used for sports-related items such as sports cards, memorabilia, jerseys, apparel, collectibles, diecasts, equipment, and other approved sports-related items.

Items can be managed privately, displayed publicly, or offered for sale where selling features have been requested and enabled.

Items displayed publicly or offered for sale must comply with applicable MSL rules and should reflect the standards, integrity, and values of My Sports Locker and the collector community.

Can I have more than one Locker?

Depending on your plan, your Locker structure may include a Main Locker and one or more Sub-Lockers.

Your Main Locker is the primary Locker associated with your account. Some plans may provide access to Sub-Lockers for organizing additional collections, categories, or assigned Locker users.

A Sub-Locker can provide many of the same normal collection-management features as a Main Locker, but it remains part of the Main Locker structure and cannot create another level of Sub-Lockers beneath it.

Refer to the current Pricing page for plan-specific Locker and Sub-Locker details.

Can I customize my Locker?

Yes. Locker Owners have considerable flexibility to present their Locker in a way that reflects their collection and identity.

Depending on the available features, this may include the Locker name, profile information, collection categories, images, display preferences, and other presentation details.

MSL may provide or assist with standardized design elements, such as Locker banners, so individual Lockers maintain a consistent, professional, and visually pleasing appearance across the platform.

The Locker Owner retains meaningful control over their Locker while following applicable MSL presentation and community standards.

Can I change my Locker name later?

Yes. A Locker Owner may request a Locker name change, subject to name availability and applicable MSL naming, trademark, and presentation standards.

The Locker Owner controls the identity of their Locker, while MSL helps ensure public Locker names remain appropriate, professional, and consistent with the platform.

Changing a Locker name may also require related public display elements, such as the Locker banner, to be updated.

Selling & Buying

What can I sell on My Sports Locker?

Where commerce has been requested and enabled for a Locker, a Locker Owner may offer eligible sports-related items from their own collection for sale.

Items offered for sale must belong to the Locker Owner or be under their lawful control, be accurately described, be legally permitted for sale, and comply with applicable MSL rules.

Examples may include sports cards, memorabilia, jerseys, apparel, collectibles, diecasts, equipment, and other approved sports-related items.

The Locker Owner is responsible for the item, its description, pricing, applicable taxes, shipping, and other seller obligations. My Sports Locker provides the platform, display, transaction tools, and support framework and is not the owner or seller of the Locker Owner’s item.

Can I accept offers on my items?

Yes, where the offer feature is available and selling has been activated for the Locker.

The Locker Owner controls whether eligible items are open to offers and decides whether to accept or decline an offer.

An offer does not transfer ownership of an item until the applicable transaction has been completed and any required terms have been satisfied.

MSL provides the offer and transaction tools, while the Locker Owner remains responsible for the item, pricing, and acceptance decision.

How do buyers find my items?

When a Locker or selected items are made public, buyers and other collectors may find them through available MSL search and browsing tools, collection categories, featured listings, the Locker’s public page, or direct links and QR codes shared by the Locker Owner.

The Locker Owner controls what collection information and items are made public, subject to applicable MSL requirements.

Where selling has been requested and enabled, eligible public items may also be made available for purchase through the applicable transaction system.

Shipping & Returns

Do I have to ship items?

You are only responsible for shipping when you choose to sell an item that requires delivery to the buyer.

The Locker Owner is responsible for preparing and packaging the item, arranging the applicable shipping or delivery method, and meeting the shipping standards associated with the transaction.

Shipping arrangements, costs, and delivery responsibilities are between the Locker Owner and buyer, subject to applicable MSL rules and transaction requirements.

MSL provides the platform and supporting tools but does not take possession of or physically ship the Locker Owner’s items.

What shipping options are available?

Depending on the transaction, shipping options may include a tracked carrier, local pickup, or another appropriate delivery method supported by the Locker Owner and buyer.

The Locker Owner selects and arranges the shipping method, subject to applicable MSL requirements and any options available through the platform.

The Locker Owner remains responsible for preparing the item, arranging shipment, providing applicable tracking information, and completing delivery obligations.

MSL is not the carrier and does not take possession of the item.

MSL is also reviewing ways to further assist Locker Owners with shipping, including tools that may help prepare printable shipping labels and simplify tracking information for completed transactions.

What is the return policy?

Returns are handled between the buyer and the Locker Owner according to the applicable listing terms, MSL rules, and legal requirements.

Because the Locker Owner owns the item and operates their own Locker when selling, the Locker Owner is responsible for accurately describing the item, responding to a return request, and handling any approved return, refund, or replacement.

The buyer and Locker Owner are responsible for following the applicable return-shipping and transaction process.

MSL provides the platform, transaction records, tools, and support framework but is not the owner or seller of the item.

Where there is a material concern involving item condition, authenticity, or a significant difference from the listing description, MSL may review the matter under the applicable marketplace or community rules.

Payments & Payouts

How and when do I get paid?

Where selling and payment features are activated, payment for an eligible completed sale is processed through the available transaction system.

The Locker Owner receives the amount due after the buyer’s payment has been processed and any applicable transaction, delivery, refund, or verification requirements have been satisfied.

Any MSL selling fee is handled separately according to the current Locker plan or applicable fee schedule. Shipping, taxes, and other applicable transaction charges are handled according to the transaction and are not included in the MSL selling percentage unless specifically stated otherwise.

Locker Owners remain responsible for their own business income, tax obligations, and applicable reporting requirements.

What payment methods are supported?

Where payment features are active, buyers can use the secure payment methods made available through the checkout and payment system.

These may include major credit or debit cards and other approved digital payment options supported by the payment provider.

Available payment methods may change over time, and the checkout will show the current options available for the transaction.

MSL does not require Locker Owners to personally collect or store a buyer’s payment-card information.

Is my financial information secure?

Payment information is handled through established payment-processing systems rather than being collected directly by individual Locker Owners.

Sensitive payment-card information is processed through the secure checkout and payment environment, and Locker Owners do not receive or store a buyer’s full card details through MSL.

MSL also applies administrative, access, and security controls intended to protect account and transaction information used within the platform.

Privacy & Security

How is my personal information protected?

My Sports Locker handles personal information according to its Privacy Policy and uses administrative, technical, and access controls intended to protect account, Locker, and transaction information.

Access to information is limited according to system roles and responsibilities, and MSL applies measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

Locker Owners are also responsible for protecting their account credentials and deciding what collection information they choose to make public.

For full details about how personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected, please refer to the MSL Privacy Policy.

Can my Locker be private?

Yes, where supported by the applicable Locker features.

A Locker can be used for private collection management, public viewing, or with selected collection information made visible according to the Locker Owner’s preferences and available controls.

The Locker Owner controls what collection information is made public, subject to applicable MSL platform requirements.

Keeping a Locker private does not prevent MSL from retaining account, system, operational, security, or support information required to provide and protect the service.

Where selling features are activated, only the information required for eligible public listings and transactions needs to be made available.

Support & Community

What kind of support do Locker Owners receive?

My Sports Locker provides support to help Locker Owners use and manage their Locker effectively.

Support may include help with initial setup and onboarding, Locker features, collection-management tools, plan features, inventory, quantities, storage locations, pricing, display settings, Main Locker and Sub-Locker use, public or private settings, and optional selling features where available.

MSL also provides in-system instructions, prompts, notices, and correction options intended to help Locker Owners resolve routine issues themselves where possible.

When normal Locker tools are not enough, a Locker Owner can contact MSL support for assistance. The issue can then be reviewed, documented, and directed to the appropriate next step.

Routine Locker questions may be resolved through normal support, while system errors, security concerns, data-integrity issues, or matters requiring code or technical changes may be escalated for technical review.

Where commerce is enabled, support may also include questions relating to transactions, shipping, returns, payments, or other available selling features.

The goal is to provide practical support while the Locker Owner remains in control of their Locker, collection, and applicable business activity.

Can I provide feedback or suggest new features?

Yes. Locker Owner feedback is an important part of the ongoing development of My Sports Locker.

MSL encourages Locker Owners to share suggestions for improvements, useful features, and ways the platform could better support collectors.

Suggestions are evaluated against the needs of the platform, technical requirements, security considerations, development priorities, and the broader needs of the collector community.

Not every suggestion can be implemented, but useful feedback can help guide future development priorities.

What is the collector community all about?

My Sports Locker is building a Canada-focused community created by collectors, for collectors.

The community is intended to support trust, authenticity, fair dealing, respect for other collectors, responsible presentation of items, and preservation of the hobby and collections that help define it.

Locker Owners remain independent and in control of their own collections and Lockers, while also being part of a broader platform where the quality, accuracy, and integrity of each public Locker contribute to the reputation of the MSL community.

MSL encourages knowledge sharing, responsible collecting, preserving history and legacy, and maintaining a professional and trustworthy environment across Canada.
