Respect the Hobby. Respect Each Other.
These Community Guidelines establish the behaviour expected from every Locker Owner, buyer, seller, collector, Founder, visitor and participant using MySportsLockers.ca.

MySportsLockers.ca is being built by collectors, for collectors. Every participant is expected to protect the hobby, communicate honestly, treat others fairly, and help maintain a safe, respectful and trustworthy marketplace.
Respect
Treat every collector with courtesy and professionalism.
Trust
Be truthful about items, transactions and your identity.
Integrity
Protect the reputation and long-term health of the hobby.
Community
Help build a welcoming Canadian collecting environment.
- Use respectful language in listings, messages, reviews, support requests and public discussions.
- Disagree with ideas or transaction outcomes without attacking the person.
- Do not insult, mock, belittle, shame or deliberately provoke another participant.
- Repeated unwanted contact, excessive messaging or pressure is prohibited.
- No threats of violence, harm, retaliation, exposure or economic punishment.
- No stalking, repeated unwanted contact or attempts to locate another person offline.
- No intimidation intended to force a sale, refund, review change or private settlement.
- Credible threats may be reported to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities.
Content or conduct that attacks, degrades, excludes or threatens a person or group based on protected or personal characteristics is prohibited.
- No slurs, degrading stereotypes, hateful symbols used to intimidate, or calls for exclusion or harm.
- No discriminatory refusal to communicate, buy, sell or provide service where prohibited by law.
- Historical collectibles may require context and must still comply with law and marketplace policy.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, account status, Founder status, collection, ownership or transaction history.
- Do not knowingly provide false information to another participant or to My Sports Lockers Inc.
- Do not conceal important transaction details or create misleading impressions.
- Use support and dispute processes honestly and only for legitimate concerns.
- Do not post another person's address, telephone number, financial information, identity documents or private messages without permission.
- Do not pressure another participant to share unnecessary personal information.
- Use approved transaction and communication tools where available.
- Report suspected account compromise or identity misuse promptly.
- No repeated unsolicited advertising, chain messages or mass promotional messages.
- Do not use another member's listing, review or profile to promote unrelated products.
- Do not repeatedly direct participants to off-platform sales or external services.
- Promotional content must follow applicable advertising and marketplace rules.
- Reviews must reflect a genuine interaction or transaction.
- No fake reviews, review trading, purchased reviews or coordinated rating manipulation.
- Do not threaten a negative review to force a refund, discount or benefit.
- Do not retaliate against a participant for leaving honest feedback.
- Private or irrelevant information may be removed from a review.
- Begin by communicating clearly and respectfully with the other party.
- Use the approved return, refund, shipping or dispute process where applicable.
- Provide photographs, messages, tracking and other evidence honestly.
- Do not publicly shame, threaten or mobilize others against a participant while a dispute is under review.
- Identify whether you are expressing an opinion, reporting evidence or relying on a recognized authenticator.
- Do not knowingly make false accusations of fraud or counterfeiting.
- Report serious authenticity concerns privately through the proper reporting process.
- Allow the seller or Locker Owner a fair opportunity to provide documentation or clarification.
Founding Locker Owners and specially recognized members are expected to model constructive behaviour, provide thoughtful feedback and support the long-term reputation of MySportsLockers.ca.
Founder status does not excuse misconduct or place a Founder above marketplace rules.
- Meet in a safe, public and well-lit location.
- Tell someone where you are going and consider bringing another person.
- Do not pressure someone to meet privately or at an isolated location.
- Inspect items and confirm agreed terms before completing the exchange.
- No unlawful, threatening, pornographic, exploitative or grossly abusive content.
- No content intended to facilitate fraud, theft, violence or prohibited transactions.
- No unauthorized copying of another person's photographs, biographies, collection stories or designs.
- Images and descriptions should be appropriate for a general collector audience.
Reports should include enough information for a fair review, such as listing links, Locker names, screenshots, messages, transaction information, photographs or dates.
Send community concerns to admin@mysportslockers.ca. Knowingly false or retaliatory reports may violate these Guidelines.
Depending on the seriousness, frequency and evidence available, My Sports Lockers Inc. may:
- Issue guidance or a warning.
- Remove content or restrict communication tools.
- Limit marketplace access or suspend a Locker.
- Suspend or terminate an account.
- Refer serious matters to payment providers, rights holders or law enforcement.
Where appropriate, a participant may be allowed to provide context, evidence or corrective steps. Reinstatement may depend on the seriousness of the conduct, prior history, cooperation and the risk to the community.
Immediate action may be taken without advance notice where necessary to protect people, funds, evidence, systems or legal rights.
These Guidelines may be updated to reflect changes in law, platform features, member feedback, safety risks or marketplace operations. Revised Guidelines will be posted with an updated version or effective date.
